Insurer Claims Team of the Year

The insurer's claims team, which could represent a country or a wider geography within Asia-Pacific, will need to demonstrate they have had an exceptional year handling claims. For the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017, the insurer will need to provide evidence they have gone above and beyond the call of duty, helping clients at times of difficulty on a consistent basis.

Examples of excellence could be helping reduce supply chain losses, reduced leakage, enhanced fraud detection techniques, quicker settlement and increased customer satisfaction.

This award is open to all insurers working within the Asia-Pacific insurance community.

Claims Innovation of the Year

Innovation lies at the heart of the evolving claims sector. For the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017, entrants must be able to demonstrate they have responded innovatively to a specified and identified need within the claims chain, be that a new technology investment, process, service or approach. Claims should be supported by evidence that identified goals have been met or even surpassed.

This award is open to all brokers, reinsurers, insurers and claims providers working within the Asia-Pacific insurance community.

Claims Legal Services Provider of the Year

The law firm must demonstrate they have had an exceptional year helping clients with disputes for the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017. The law firm could showcase a particular office within the region, or could showcase its work across the region.

This award is open to all legal practices in the Asia-Pacific insurance community.

Claims Service Provider of the Year

This award is open to all claims service providers in the Asia-Pacific insurance community including loss adjusters. Open to any organisation providing a professional, advisory or technical service directly to the general insurance market or to the supply chain.

For the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017 entrants must be able to demonstrate they have responded innovatively to the demands of the market and must provide evidence of consistent levels of service and customer satisfaction, whether those customers are in business-to-business or business-to-consumer relationships.

Entrants will also need evidence of enhanced business success through their relationship with the insurance market.

Broker Claims Team of the Year

The broker's claims team, which could represent a whole company or a region within Asia-Pacific, will need to demonstrate they have had an exceptional year handling claims. For the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017 the broker will need to provide evidence they have gone above and beyond the call of duty, helping clients at times of difficulty on a consistent basis.

Examples of excellence could be helping reduce supply chain losses, reduced leakage, enhanced fraud detection techniques, quicker settlement and increased customer satisfaction.
The award is open to all brokers working with the Asia-Pacific insurance community.

New for 2017: Fraud Team of the Year Award

Fighting fraud has never been more important in insurance. To win this award - open to brokers, insurers and reinsurers - your team must show evidence that combatting fraud has brought meaningful results. Proof of the prevention and detection of fraud is essential.

Open to brokers, insurers and reinsurers within Asia-Pacific, we are looking for evidence within the period 1 June 2016 to 1 May 2017.

Young Achiever of the Year

Open to anyone working in the Asia-Pacific insurance community aged 35 or under on the date of 1 May 2017. This award will go to the person who has made significant strides in their professional development over the past year, clearly demonstrating their contribution to the team or department in which he or she works.

Evidence of commitment to pursuing relevant professional qualifications will be required. All nominations must be made or supported by the person's departmental manager.

The award is open to everybody working within the Asia-Pacific insurance community.
